I Used to love selling on Etsy, I opened my store a fiddling over a year ago and while i don't get a lot of orders I feel similar my shop is successful, I get slap-up reviews and haven't gotten annihilation other then five stars. But then they changed how payments work just earlier Christmas. pay off the fees once a calendar month and purchase postage out of pocket which wasn't a large deal, I would pay nether $4 in fees a month and $2.75 for postage. I preferred it that was so I could get my entire payment from my very inexpensive product.
The new system withholds the coin from my orders and so subtracts the fees and postage from that money until I can go it into my bank account (it will merely deposit money on business concern days). I tried to see if i could pay for postage at the time of purchase like i used to, just they take no selection for that anymore, instead the fees sit down in your payment waiting to either exist paid off at the end of the month or for you to get another society so it tin have a large amount of that money.
I'one thousand not making whatsoever money off of my product considering they keep subtracting the fees from the purchase. I have a four dollar fee sitting in the payment that I tin't pay until the end of the month.
I love existence an Etsy seller but unless they go back to the old method or give us the choice to pay for postage and fees earlier the billing wheel ends then I'll take to close down my shop.

Apps are supposed to exist convenient!

Am I the only person who despises this app? It's honestly and then bad that I detest the thoughts of listing something. Beginning of all, (with the iPhone X at least) it can be ridiculously piece of cake to merely swipe off of a list that yous're working on. So, basically, subsequently spending what feels like forever jumping through the hoops to create one — titles, pics, description, variations, etc. — it's gone. Just gone, afterwards all that time and effort. Why can't there exist a "Are y'all certain you want to exit this list?" or "Would you like to save this list as a draft?" or another selection that MAKES SENSE. Instead, there's zilch. You lot accidentally slide your finger too far across your screen, and then yous only have to start over. WHICH takes a lot of fourth dimension and work because (my next indicate) that there isn't an selection to relieve variations to use on future listings. Please consider those of united states of america who do custom clothing. Gildan, Condolement Colors, etc. take A LOT of color options to cull from. I WANT to requite my customers options, but I don't feel like it when I have to manually type in thirty+ colors every time I post a different pattern. It's 2020. Etsy has been a thing for years now. Why isn't this figured out already? Even if this is different on a desktop or laptop, it's just not as convenient. That's the betoken of an app. I'm glad to exist able to work (mostly) from the app, but I really merely wish it was better.
